Hey — I'm Vishal, a full-stack developer with ~2 years of experience turning ideas into clean, fast web products. I work across the entire stack — from pixel-precise React interfaces to battle-tested Fastify backends.

My day usually involves building features, untangling database performance issues, or obsessing over animation curves. On the side, I've been building an algorithmic trading system with Python — a deep dive into quant finance, parallel computing, and statistical analysis.

Right now I'm actively pursuing machine learning as my next frontier, with an eye on using ML to enhance both web products and trading systems.

When I'm not coding, I'm lifting weights, running, or exploring new tools on my Fedora Linux setup. I believe great software is equal parts craft and engineering — the details matter.

Journey

Now

Exploring AI & New Opportunities

Actively learning ML, data science, and AI while exploring what's next. Open to roles where I can build meaningful things at the intersection of software engineering and intelligent systems.

2026

Back to Fundamentals

Started a new chapter — diving deep into machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the mathematical foundations of computing. Rebuilding from first principles with a clearer sense of direction.

2024

First Tech Job — Totality Corp

Joined a tech startup in Gurgaon, India as a full-stack developer. Spent 1.5 years shipping real products, working in a fast-paced team, and growing from a self-taught coder into a professional engineer.

2023

Self-Taught Developer

Taught myself to code from scratch. Built projects, broke things, fixed them, and learned more from mistakes than any course could teach. Fell in love with the craft of building software.

2022

NEET Aspirant → Pivot to Code

Spent three years preparing for NEET, cracked it — but walking away from an MBBS seat was the best decision I ever made. Chose to follow curiosity over convention and turned to programming.
